The olive orchards
The Frantoio Nutile 1911 in addition to production and marketing of extra virgin olive oil, takes care of the field production of around 500 plants in various plots on various altitudes and with different cultivars based on age and type. The policy adopted in the field work is to avoid phytosanitary products that can harm the surrounding environment as much as possible, so to protect the many natural enemies that preserve the regular growth of the plants.
From the pruning to the fertilization, from field treatment to the harvest, Frantoio Nutile guarantees a control of the procedures through the supervision from qualified people who control their regular implementation. Therefore the company works in accordance with the traditions to maintain the authenticity of the oil product from the field to the table. In the agricultural finds we can find many characteristic cultivars of our area which, together with nation-spread cultivars, give us a product of unquestionable quality.

Most present cultivar types: Leccino - Croatian
Terrain: medium soil, average deformability and permeability. Presents easy-medium resistance to field work.
Altitude: approximately 500 meters
VALLI
Plants: 200
Average planting age: 20-10 years
Most present cultivar types: Leccino - Coratina - Ravece - Grappoletto
Terrain: clayey-limey on the whole orchard. Its constitution is optimal for both olive and vine cultivation
Altitude: approximately 430 meters
CERRETO
Plants: 120
Average planting age: 10 years
Most present cultivar types: Leccino - Grappoletto - Ogliarola - Ravece - Frantoio
Terrain: mostly clayey and with medium soil.
Altitude: approximately 480 meters
I CAPUTI

Average planting age: 25 years
Most present cultivar types: Ravece-Leccino-Frantoio
Terrain: clayey, rich in minerals such as silica, hydroxides of iron and aluminum.
Altitude: approximately 570 meters
